Free training for Carers

Caring for a family member or loved one with a serious mental illness can be demanding and challenging and this unique and innovative course helps carers to consolidate their existing skills and develop new ones to help support this vital role.

Upcoming dates include:

  • Advanced Directives Training -1/2  day course – 21 January 2016 in Belfast.
  • Helping Conversations – 1 Day Course - 29 January 2016– Ballymena and 15 April 2016 in Dundonald
  • CAUSE Carers Course PREP – 4 February 2016 week course in Derry/Londonderry
  • Carer Resilience Training – 1 Day Course – 8 February in Newry
  • Planning ahead for Carers – 1/2 Day Course – 19 February in Magherafelt, 26 February in Belfast and 5 March in Bangor.
  • Compassion Fatigue – 1 Day Course – 25 February 2016 in Belfast
  • CAMHS Transition Training – 1/2 Day Course - 1 March 2016 in Armagh and 6 April in Derry
  • Understanding Mental Health Forensics – 1/2 Day Course – 1 March 2016 in Armagh and 14 April in Lisburn
